The first call of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises (HLC) to Rosfjorden/Lyngdal and southern Norway on July 26 was a “real success”. Europa’s captain said that “the welcome with all the boats and yachts was something real special” according to Elisabeth Rothwangl, port operations manager HLC in a note to European Cruise Service.

He also said that: “Europa was more than welcome and everybody was more than satisfied.”

Rothwangl added that HLC passengers recommend calling Rosfjord again and that she hopes this will happen in the future.

Located between Stavanger and Kristiansand, the port’s aim is to attract smaller ships and give passengers quality offers. Europa was in fact the first call to Norway’s newest cruise port.
