Elsinore is equipped with one PRF for black and grey water which goes directly by pipeline to the municipality sewage treatment plant.
Oil-filled water and oil waste is collected by truck to a maximum of 60m3 with an extra hanger. Black and grey water per hour capacity is dependent on the ship’s pumps as there are none connected in the port. The maximum pressure on the pipeline for black water is 6kg per cm2 at 5 to 6 bar. There is no extra fee for the waste collected on the voyage from the previous port. Oil waste is recycled through company agreement.
There are no plans to build further facilities.
