Solent Stevedores signs contract with Fred Olsen Cruise Lines

Solent Stevedores has secured a two-year contract extension with Fred Olsen Cruise Lines (FOCL).
 
The deal extends the cruise operation partnership to December 2023. It is a strong endorsement of Solent Stevedores’ services and will see the company continuing to provide turnaround services to 30 FOCL calls a year at the Port of Southampton.
 
The award-winning company have been providing port and logistics services to FOCL at the Port of Southampton since 2013. The fleet includes Bolette, Borealis, Balmoral and Braemar, ships with international itineraries.
 
Tom Dynes, operations director Solent Stevedores, says: “This year we celebrate our 10-year anniversary with FOCL, and we are thrilled to extend our agreement with them once again. It is an exciting time, with two amazing new ships joining the FOCL family and plans well underway for a full year of cruise operations at the Port of Southampton: 2022 will mark a year of recovery for the UK cruise industry.”

Solent Stevedores provide cruise operations for international cruiselines at the Port of Southampton, UK, and Marina Bay, Singapore, across 800 turnaround calls every year.
