September means peak cruise season at the Port of A Coruña

The port of A Coruña has given a warm welcome to the newly built "Mein Schiff 1" on Sunday and we're kicking off one of the busiest cruise months of the year. During September, the port will welcome 18 cruise calls including "Le Lapérouse" also on her inaugural visit to the port. The ship, which is operated by Ponant Cruises, will be welcomed with the traditional plaque exchange.

September highlights, as peak cruise season, include:
• 43,000 estimated passengers.
• Three cruise ship day on 13 & 20 September.
• Costa Favolosa & Costa Mediterranea together and first visit at port.
