Destination Information
Located on Belgium’s North Sea coast, Zeebrugge is the country’s largest cruise hub and a gateway to the historic cities of Flanders. The Zeebrugge platform is part of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Europe’s second largest port. Cruise ships dock at the Swedish Quai where 2 ships can be accommodated simultaneously. Zeebrugge is mainly a transit port for day excursions but it also offers turnaround opportunities to small and medium sized ships. The port authority is investing in two 16 MW shore power installations, the first of which will be operational by 2027. By 2030 and a brand new terminal with state-of-the-art passenger boarding bridges will be available to the cruise industry.
