Destination Information

PORT OF EIDFJORD: With dramatic contrasts and short distances, Eidfjord offers some of the very best of Norway in one place. It serves as the gateway to Hardangervidda, Europe’s largest high mountain plateau and Norway’s biggest national park. Here you’ll also find Vøringsfossen waterfall, one of Norway’s most iconic natural attractions. The Norwegian Nature Center features fully digital, three-story interactive exhibits and an impressive 225-degree 12K panoramic film. Several activities and experiences are located within easy walking distance from the Port of Eidfjord. PORT OF ULVIK: Ulvik is renowned for its beautiful fruit blossoms each May, and the region produces sweet cherries, plums, pears, and apples. In the charming, compact village center, you’ll find public services, shops, hotels, cafés, and a variety of arts and crafts exhibitions.
