In 2006, AGENA TRAMP was appointed as sub-agents, or “ co-agents” by a hub-agent to handle the calls in the French Atlantic & French North Sea ports of ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISES/CELEBRITY CRUISES/AZAMARA , P&O and at later stage of TUI and PULLMANTUR

From 2009, AGENA TRAMP started gradually to act as sub-agents for SILVERSEA CRUISES in the ports where their hub agent is not established.

OPERATIONAL CONSISTENCY/PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY

The success of a good call resting in a good knowledge of the ports of call , of the local authorities , of the local customs & regulations, we make a point in having a deep knowledge of each place.

We value the ports where we work, as users, as co-workers, as colleagues and , very often, as friends. Each call is thoroughly prepared in close coordination/concertation with the port authorities, the local board of tourism, the shore excursion companies and the city officials.

Representing the cruise companies in the ports is both a privilege and a huge responsibility as to port operations but also to the extend that our principals rely on us to be their “ eyes “ in the ports , expecting from their agents an objective feedback concerning the port infrastructures and services ( number of berths , gangways, distance from the berth to the city , cleanliness & accessibility of the quays ), facilities ( cruise terminals, hospitality desks , shuttles ) and surroundings ( shops, internet connection , entertainment offer, medical services etc ).

It is to their agents that the companies will comment, or in good, or in bad and these comments need to be shared with the port authorities in order to always improve the image of the port reflected to the cruise lines.

Due the number of different cruise calls ( both in size of ships and in the culture / needs / habits of the cruise lines ) handled by AGENA TRAMP , our port agencies are trained to handle even the most delicate situations with the ships, the crew or the passengers, contributing in rendering the port attractive and safe for the ships .

Being an associated member of Cruise Europe is our contribution to value the member ports by sharing and solving together the problems, bringing new ideas and our creativity , our objectivity and our view “ from the bridge “ .
