Falmouth

Falmouth

Located at the entrance of Carrick Roads, a great inlet and natural deep water harbour denting Britain’s South West coast, Falmouth is superbly located for round Britain, European or repositioning cruises; and is the Duchy of Cornwall’s, Britain’s premier holiday region, leading South coast resort.

At the entrance to Carrick Roads, the twin castles of Pendennis and St Mawes can be seen by passengers where they have stood guard since the 16th century. The Port can accommodate ships alongside, or they can anchor in the sheltered waters of the Bay. Dedicated passenger landing facilities are available, as well as a full range of marine services. Ships berth only a 10 minute walk away from the town or passengers can opt to take the complimentary transfer coach. Beyond the town, the choice of shore excursions are plentiful, from glorious sub tropical gardens, to grand historical estates, ancient and magical castles, to the natural wonders of Cornwall’s landscape and coastline.
