Sønderborg

Sønderborg - A Historical Jewel among the Danish Sea Ports.

Are you looking for a new interesting port of call for your next cruise in Scandinavia? Sønderborg might be the answer.

Located at the foot of the Jutlandic Peninsula in Denmark, Sønderborg has played a major part in Danish history. Sønderborg Castle, situated at the entrance of Als Sound, served from 1532 to 1549 as prison for the Danish King Christian II, a truly Machiavellian king.
