Zeeland expects two calls in September

Holland America Line’s Prinsendam is expected to call Vlissingen on September 8 followed by Phoenix Reisen’s Artania on the 25th. Both have called the Dutch port before.

Passengers will be welcomed by a song and dance troupe in traditional Zeeland costumes accompanied by a typical Dutch barrel organ (pictured).

Several stalls will be set up offering local products and souvenirs to give the passengers a “taste” of Zeeland.

Shore excursions on offer include those to nearby historical villages, the coastal defences Delta Works, seal spotting and culinary tasting at a cheese farm as well as a visit to mussel and oyster plots.
