Vigo involves the community through a training conference

In January the Port of Vigo hosted a second conference in collaboration with the Tourism Board to share with the port community and agents, the different perspectives, insights and approaches behind the concept of a port as a cruise destination.

The training conference was organised by Cruises News Media Group and received a high high attendance, demonstrating the interest that the industry awakes in Vigo and the Port Authority’s commitment which includes training as an essential path to growth and improvement.

The city of Vigo (the most populated city of the Northwestern Spain), also known as “The city of olives”, is located on one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Iberian peninsula, and looks over the bay with the same name. The highest stands are the hills of O Castro and A Guia, and from there it winds down to the charming old quarter.
