The London Cruise Terminal at Tilbury has been enjoying the festive season thanks to Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV). The cruise line specialises in traditional no fly cruises aboard and has made the London Cruise Terminal at Tilbury their home port for the elegant and traditional style cruise ship Marco Polo.
During December, CMV will have sent over 3,000 people on four special Christmas Markets cruises visiting ports including Amsterdam, Antwerp and Zeebrugge for Bruges. Leading up to this, and in between these sailings, more than 7,000 potential cruise passengers have visited Tilbury as part of a ‘Festive Events’ programme. Guests have been visiting the ship for lunch or for dinner with the chance to see around the port and the ship whilst being entertained with a fabulous show. Many guests took up the option to spend a night on board.
Marketing Manager of CMV Mike Hall said “Our ‘sell out’ cruises show that the convenience of a local departure is a contributing factor when choosing a cruise holiday.
