The Le Havre conurbation, a new business and tourism destination

The new convention centre, Le Carré des Docks – Le Havre Normandie, was inaugurated this morning, by Edouard Philippe, Mayor of Le Havre, President of the Le Havre Conurbation (CODAH), Gilbert CONAN, CEO of the SPL des Docks, Hervé Morin, President of the Normandy Region and Pascal Martin, President of the Department of Seine-Maritime.
The elected officials stated that for several years, the conurbation of Le Havre has undergone a metamorphosis enabling it to establish its position among the metropolis of importance. Under the leadership of the CODAH and supported by the Region and the Department, the territory has acquired new equipments which are factors of attractiveness for the Le Havre and its conurbation, such as the Stade Océane, the tram, les Bains des Docks, several facilities for higher education… The new facility can accommodate all types of events (conventions, shows, receptions…), from 10 to 10,000 people.
