Calls to St Malo next year number 33, up from 24 this year and 21 in 2009. Passenger numbers last year were 7,409. Newcomers in 2011 include Holland America Line’s Ryndam and Maasdam, SeaDream Yacht Club’s SeaDream 1 and Oceania Cruises’ Marina.
This year new arrivals include Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ Black Watch and Braemar, Saga Shipping’s Spirit of Adventure and Silversea Cruises’ Silver Spirit.
There are three quays at the French port, each being 150m long, 21m wide and 9m draught. There is no need for shuttle buses as the quays are a short walk into the city centre.
Anchorage of 240m is located between Dinard and St Malo and 0.8nm by tender into the city. Follow some repair work at the port this year, passsengers arriving by tender will be able to come to the passenger terminal de la Bourse instead of embarking on the pier, explains Elisabeth Gouzien, Chargee de Promotion Service Tourisme.
Wastewater and recycling facilities are available at the port which has no air draught restrictions.
