Grenen at the tip of Denmark is a hotspot for migratory birds. Thousands of migratory birds navigate the busy junction around Grenen during their annual migration on major international migration routes. Birders and ornithologists from all over Europe visit.

To further investigate the life of the migratory birds, one of Skagen’s four lighthouses has been turned into a scientific bird station and experience centre - Skagen Grey Lighthouse, Center for Migratory Birds. On interactive screens, visitors will be able to follow the migratory birds live from various hotspots at the European continent.

While visiting the new attraction guests can also climb the 223 steps to the top of the 46m high Grey Lighthouse built in 1858 and enjoy magnificent views.
