Ronne

There is a main cruise berth and two smaller ones in Ronne, each of which is served by truck with a capacity of 25m3 per hour. The waste goes to the municipal waste treatment plant located in the port area. One truck is free of charge.

There are plans to build extra PRF which means direct pipe connection to today’s main cruise berth and the planned new cruise pier. The plan is for these to be ready for 2019/2020. The main obstruction to putting these in place is the low number of calls and the high costs, according to Neils Lundberg, cruise & security manager Port of Ronne, who added that cruiseline investment/commitment on call numbers would make it “much easier to make a good business case”.
