Copenhagen’s three-berth Ocean Quay will be inaugurated by Denmark’s Queen Margrethe II on May 2 when Royal Caribbean International’s Legend of the Seas calls.
The 1,100m berth will be served by three terminals, each of 1,800m2. Facilities exist to discharge wastewater at 300m3 per hour and infrastructure for shore power is in place. Storm bollards of 250t have been installed as well as 125t bollards. There is room for a fourth berth should it be required in the future.
