Elite players from the international architecture and design community came together on June 17 at Toronto's historic Evergreen Brick Works as Azure revealed the winners of its sixth annual ‘AZ Awards'.
In March, a distinguished panel has gathered in Toronto to narrow down the 826 entries from 52 countries to a shortlist of 66 finalists, which included the Porto Cruise Terminal. From there, 18 extraordinary winners were now honoured with an ‘AZ Award'.
Porto Cruise Terminal won the category of ‘Commercial / Institutional Architecture over 1,000 Square Metres'. This award restates the excellence of the new Porto Cruise Terminal, strengthening its reputation among major international cruise companies, which have been increasingly considering Leixões as a mandatory port of call bringing more and more visitors to Porto and North destination.
Porto Cruise Terminal was design by the Portuguese Architect Luís Pedro Silva.
