Parnu has yet to book a call but dredging is due to begin in July to increase the channel depth most probably to 8m.

The privately-owned Port of Parnu is investing E4.5m into this project and a further E1.7m on reconstructing the 250m-long quay which will be completed prior to the dredging.

The city quay is only two to three minutes walk from the old town.

Parnu is about 140nm from Riga and 240nm from Tallinn. In the summer the Mayor of Tallinn visits the town and names it the summer capital of Estonia. It is an extremely popular holiday destination swelling from a population of about 35,000 to five times that during the summer months.
