On June 25 Azamara Journey is booked to call Olden. When Cunard Line called Port of Nordfjord wanting to bring Queen Victoria on the same day, the company was keen to find a solution rather than passengers having to take tenders ashore.

Azamara Club Cruises agreed for its ship to leave the pier at 0930 for a couple of hours during which time Cunard’s passengers could disembark for shore excursions. In addition the harbourmaster agreed that this short call can be made free of charge.

On June 11 a similar story unfolded with Seabourn Quest coming alongside the pier at 0900, prior to which Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ Balmoral docked at 0630 and disembarked passengers for shore excursions before heading to anchorage at 0830.

On June 14, MSC Opera called the port for the first time.
