The local Seamen’s club has started a special programme of care this year for cruise crew. The club will now be open all day while a ship is in port.
A minibus shuttle is being provided from the terminal to the club where crew members will be able to relax and use facilities such as WiFi and telephones.
***Pilots from the French port will be on hand at Cruise Shipping Miami (15-17 March) to demonstrate the nautical access conditions to the port on a Transas simulator.
One of the screens gives an aerial view of the motion of the ship within its environment and the other shows the vessel’s technical data as well as the other vessels and tug boats present in the setup of the exercise.
