Flam introduces Vox tours this summer

Flam will offer excursions using Vox for the first time this summer. Beginning with those to
Stalheim and Stegastein, passengers will be able to keep the headsets received but these
must be ordered from Visit Flam by the tour operator.

“We aim to be able to offer them on most tour by bus, boat and train. Hopefully by next
year but it may take a bit longer,” said Agnes Woodworth of Visit Flam. She also wanted to
highlight the sustainable green excursion that is Flam railway, it being run on hydro
power. With the three early morning departures a week now on offer, it is recommended
that passengers book tours through the cruiselines as space may be limited.

Discounts are being given on the railway as well as 25% deduction in port
charges to ships arriving from October through to March. Nearby Otternes
farmyard which consists of a cluster of 27 houses from the 18th century
and has stunning views is now able to take larger groups.
