At the beginning of May, Copenhagen Malmo Port (CMP) began a free information service via SMS or email with regard to cruise calls.
Those interested can sign up by filling in their name and contact information for requested information only. The data will not be sold to third parties.
CMP will send information out 24 hours prior to the estimated time of arrival of the cruiseship and/or text SMS to a mobile at 0600 on the call day.
Since the service began Arnt Moller Pedersen, general manager CMP, says that at least a hundred have signed up including taxi drivers, ship agents and incoming service companies.
