Patrick Schneider is the Director of Guest Port Experience for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. He oversees the shore excursion program in all destinations for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Azamara brands
Patrick has been with the company for 19 years. He started working on ships in the shore excursion department, and after nine years working onboard he moved to the office in Miami. While onboard ships in the capacity of shore excursion manager, he covered several destinations including the Mediterranean, Baltic, South America, Alaska, Caribbean, and Bermuda. His time in the office had been spent managing the Caribbean tour program, and prior to that he was part of the team that looked after Europe, Bermuda, Canada/New England, and the Exotic Destinations.
Four years ago he became the Director of the program. Currently he oversees the tour operations and guest destination experience for 33 ships, calling to over 420 ports, operating over 4,500 tours, and sending approximately 4.2 million guests on tour each year.
