Vice President, Shore Operations, Princess Cruises
Bruce Krumrine is the Vice-President of Shore Operations for Princess Cruises. The Shore Operations area includes Port Operations, Shore Excursions, Passenger Logistics (passenger embarkation, disembarkation, and check-in operations), and Government and Community Relations. His responsibilities include over 300 ports worldwide including over 30 turnaround ports and over 3,000 shore excursions.
Bruce is a 31 year cruise industry veteran. His career began in 1979 with Sitmar Cruises working onboard ship as Cruise Staff before moving to their corporate office in 1981. In 1988 Princess Cruises acquired Sitmar. In 2003 Princess became part of the Carnival Group. During his shoreside career he has held a number of positions in the Hotel and Marine Operations departments including Hotel Operations Director and Passenger Programs Director.
Bruce has a bachelors degree in history from Stonehill College, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and a Total Quality Management degree from UCLA.
He is an active participant in port and tour associations worldwide including Medcruise (Mediterranean ports), Cruise Europe (Northern and Western European ports), Surcruise (South American ports), CCYIA (Chinese ports), Cruise Downunder (Australian ports) and Cruise New Zealand (New Zealand ports).
Bruce’s wife Julie is the Vice-President of Public Relations for Princess Cruises. They have two sons and they reside in Santa Clarita, California.
