Iberocruceros makes its first partial turnarounds in Lisbon this year

Lisbon welcomed Iberocruceros on its first partial turnarounds this year.
Transit calls in 2011 numbered 266 and homeports 70 bringing 456,079 and 51,071 passengers respectively. Next year there are 282 transit and 69 homeport calls forecast, bringing 524,675 and 40,123 passengers respectively. In 2012 MSC Divina will call on her maiden voyage.
Iberocruceros began turnaround operations at the Port of Bilbao’s Getxo cruise terminal in May with 1,700-passenger Grand Mistral, a first for the port.
Vigo will welcome Iberocruceros’ Grand Voyager on 24 turnaround calls this year, the first time that the Spanish brand has homeported in the northern Spanish port.
Gdynia is in the middle of modernising the Pomorskie Quay which is close to the city centre, according to Grgegorz Bonk, marketing Port of Gdynia Authority.
On July 23, Iberocruceros’ 1,248-passenger 48,200gt Grand Mistral will visit Reykjavik for the first time bringing Spanish passengers on what appears to be the first ever fly/sail cruise to Iceland and Greenland.
Disney Cruise Line, Iberocruceros and Cruise & Maritime Voyages are calling the west Atlantic port of Cherbourg in France for the first time this year.
