Hafnarfjordur is dredging the entrance to the inner harbour in order to allow vessels up to 300m long and with a draught of 8m to enter.
On June 11, 95,000gt MSC Poesia docked in Hafnarfjordur. At 300m long she is the largest vessel to have docked at the Icelandic port.
Hafnarfjordur in Iceland is expecting 13 calls this year of which five will be turnarounds.
